Bad Dog Frida is my favorite. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. They have a great selection of treats and toys. They also have a great inventory of food choices. I live in Waunakee but do my pet shopping there because it’s always a great experience. I highly recommend checking them out.

This pet store is truly wonderful, and the employees are fantastic. The whole place feels so wholesome, and it’s obvious how much they genuinely care about every dog. I went in to try on suspenders for the winter and felt bad because we made a bit of a mess, but the staff couldn’t have been kinder about it. They also host great dog-friendly activities throughout the year—my favorite is the Easter egg hunt. It’s an amazing place.

Bad Dog Frida is the best store for dog and cat supplies and treats in Madison, Wisconsin. I love that it’s a local small business with helpful and knowledgeable staff. They rock! 🤘 …

We really love this store! They have just the nicest people working here and a good selection of things for dogs and cats. They really fit as much as they can into their space. By nature they can’t have as big of a selection as a larger store but they do what they can and are so helpful!

I just moved to Madison and realized I only had a couple days before my dog’s 12th birthday. I ordered a birthday box in the morning and it was DELIVERED for $5 to my apartment same day!!! Hendrick gets his special box in 2 more sleeps!

This is a great local business! When I adopted my dog, they set me up with an adoption package that included food, treats, supplements, etc. for my new friend. The first Saturday of every month they have a dog trainer that you can speak to for $5 for 5 minutes (donation to pet rescue!) about how to handle certain problems with your dog (super helpful!). They have always been very warm and welcoming when I come in and stock my dog's favorite, gut friendly treats (Steve's real food lamb bites).

A lovely little shop that carries only the most tried, true and tested items! Staff is so knowledgeable. It was from them I learned a dollop of coconut oil is what my dog needed daily to avoid the anal gland expressions we were going to the vet for every 6-8 weeks. Some stuff for kitties too!

We had another great shopping experience! They carry all the best brands, everything is high quality so you don't have to look hard to find it. Friendly service with a sweet personal touch, they truly are a wonderful neighborhood store in Madison. Signs on the windows indicate they are welcoming to all, including private shopping for reactive dogs. It shows how much they care about their customers from all (dog) walks of life. We're grateful to have them on the East side of town!
